Prince William’s Birthday Gift

Prince William got a Palace as his birthday present. Situated in Sandringham the palace has been presented to her grand-son as birthday present by Queen Elizabeth II herself. King Edward 7th built this palace. In 1893 after the wedding, the King George 5th and Queen Mary lived in this palace. The Palace of Sandringham was so dear to King George 5th that he labeled it as his most favorite place than any other place in the world. William is very happy as he gets it from his grand-mother. Because the palace is his favorite. Last year after the wedding with Kate, they spent their first Christmas here as husband - wife. Two thousand acres of land the palace of Sandringham situated in Kings Lane near Norfolk State. After ascended the throne in 1952 it was property of Queen Elizabeth II. However, since 1892 it is the property of the royal family.

প্রিন্স উইলিয়ামের জন্মদিনের উপহার 

জন্মদিনে প্রিন্স উইলিয়াম উপহার পেলেন আস্ত একটা কটেজ। স্যানড্রিংহামে অবস্থিত অনিন্দ্যসুন্দর কটেজটি উপহার হিসেবে আদরের নাতিকে দিয়েছেন স্বয়ং রানী এলিজাবেথ। কটেজটি বানিয়েছিলেন রাজা ৭ম অ্যাডওয়ার্ড। এছাড়া ১৮৯৩ সালে বিয়ের পর থেকেই এই কটেজেই বসবাস করতেন রাজা পঞ্চম জর্জ এবং রানী মেরি। এই স্যানড্রিংহাম কটেজ রাজা পঞ্চম জর্জের এত প্রিয় ছিল যে, তিনি একে বিশ্বের যে কোনো স্থানের চেয়ে তার সব থেকে প্রিয় জায়গা বলে আখ্যায়িত করেন। দাদির কাছ থেকে এই অনিন্দ্য কটেজটি পেয়ে উইলিয়ামও খুব খুশি হয়েছেন। কারণ কটেজটি তার খুব প্রিয়। গত বছর কেটের সঙ্গে বিয়ের পর তারা এই কটেজেই স্বামী-স্ত্রী হিসেবে নিজেদের প্রথম বড়দিনটি কাটিয়েছেন। দুই হাজার একর জমি নিয়ে তৈরি স্যানড্রিংহাম স্টেটটি নরফোকের কিংস লেনের কাছাকাছি অবস্থিত। ১৯৫২ সালে সিংহাসনে আরোহণের পর থেকেই এটি রানী এলিজাবেথের সম্পত্তি ছিল। অবশ্য ১৮৯২ সাল থেকেই এটি রাজপরিবারের সম্পত্তি।
